Dear Alan:
I have read all of
the newsletters and I must echo the thoughts of the other transcriptions,
I am impressed! I have worked for other companies who have started newsletters
that have been sent out for a few months and then they just fizzle out.
I have worked for companies who have promised for months and months
to start sending out newsletters and who have promised feedback, but
only for a very short time or not at all. Working long distance this
is so vital for us. It also makes one feel as if they are actually important
to the company. It is nice to know what you are planning for in the
near and distant future. I know that as a company grows there is growing
pains, but it seems as though the very most important part of that company
suffers the most, the transcriptions. But from what I have read, I truly
believe that your company is different. I believe that you do honestly
care about your MTs. So here's to a great working relationship with
a new and hopefully very prosperous company.
I have created my
folders and files, zipped the files, printed out all info, started a
hard-copy binder of all that I have printed out, so I think I am ready
to get started.
Have a wonderful day,
Larra
Dear Linda and Alan,
I kept putting off
writing this letter to you because 1) I didn't want to
sound like a wimp and 2) I am sure you hear a ton of excuses and I didn't
want to be another.
A few weeks ago, in fact, shortly after I got my transcriber, I started
feeling very poorly. As the full time mother of 4 kids ages 9 and under,
it is easy to see how I might feel "run down". But this was
something
completely different altogether. I have been undergoing some testing,
and
to this point there is no diagnosis. I just feel unbelievably tired
(as in
cannot stay awake) all the time, my neck is stiff, and I feel like I
have
a rock in my throat. They've tested the thyroid, SLE, arthritis panel,
etc.
Nothing has come up except an elevated sed rate. I gave more blood
yesterday for more tests and it will be a week before those results
come in.
I pray for your patience with me during this time. It is all I can do
to
care for my precious children. I have all but two of the Level 1 files
done. I am very concerned about the job I am doing for you. I'd be glad
to
provide you proof from my doctor regarding my health problems. I truly
want to keep working for you. If there is any way I can, I will with
the
Lord's help.
Thanks for your understanding,
In His love,
Michele
Michelle,
We will never pressure you. We are willing to work right by your side.
Try
to play like this is a hobby or game and try to have fun with it so
it won't
feel like an additional burden.
We have a lot of what seems to be personal letters that are going to
be
published this coming month, and they all have to do with things our
MTs
can pray for. I would love to ask prayer for you. It is okay to publish
your letter?
I certainly hope everything comes to light as to why you are
feeling this way. I think someone usually knows when something is not
right within his or her own body.
God bless and love from us both,
Linda
Dear Linda and Alan,
Thank you both for your support and prayers. Of course, feel free to
publish whatever you'd like. There can never be enough prayers for any
of us.
So far, today is a better day. I got one more file done! YIPPEE! My
church has been helping me out a bunch; watching my kids, bringing me
to the doctor, or whatever is needed. They are truly a Godly group of
people.
They took some more blood yesterday for a full liver panel. I should
get all the results back by Monday. The doctor did notice that my right
side is a bit weaker than my left, so if nothing shows up in this latest
batch of
tests, I'll be off to the neurologist. Whatever this is, it sure has
knocked
me on my keester. I am so used to flitting here, there, and everywhere.
We are all looking forward to have the "old Mish" back.
The Lord never puts more on our plate than we can handle. Sometimes,
though, I think He thinks I chew faster than I really do! LOL
Thanks for the address you sent, I'll definitely check into it. I am
pooped
out and heading for a short nap. Have a blessed day and weekend. Thank
you both for being the understanding angels that you both are.
Love,
Michele
Dear Alan,
We received the MT Professional. I'm very excited and cannot wait to start
working. Walt installed everything but the spell checker. We have found
that we need more memory. At least that's what we think. Walt will be
getting that this weekend.
In reading the newsletter
and getting the MT Professional, we can see that you are extremely organized.
I am delighted with all I read from other transcriptionists with how
you and Linda put the Lord in the business. We also try to make our
Lord the focal point of our lives, to let Him guide and direct us, to
make Him the center of our marriage and our home. It is so exciting
when the Lord directs our paths!!!
Please let us know
what prayer requests you have. I really believe in praying specifically
for needs. I know God answers prayers. What a joy to be working for
Christian people.
God Bless you both,
Sandy - Baltimore,
MD (Now a Transam Professional MT)
