Linda and Alan,

Thank you so much for the opportunity to work for such a wonderful company.
I just finished reading the newsletters and feel more comfortable than I did
before knowing I'm not the only new person with no experience. I will do my
best to meet your standards I hope I downloaded and put everything in the
right place. I'm just waiting for the MT Professional to get here. Thank you again,
it's wonderful knowing there are people like you out there.

Dear Alan:

I just wanted you to know I just read through the "LETTERS of ENCOURAGEMENT" on your website and I was very touched by all the kind words from people who obviously have a lot of love and appreciation for you and your wife. You have made quite an impression on your employees and it gives me peace of mind to know that I am actually going to be able to work with someone like yourself. I can hardly wait to get started! I feel like I have a lot to offer you also. Thank you so much for the opportunity!

Sincerely,

Wendy - North Carolina

Dear Alan

I have been reading your newsletters and I have really enjoyed them. There is so much good information there. I also enjoyed the letters and "The Lighter Side". I have been getting my setup files in place and I can hardly wait until my MT Professional gets here so that I can start on the practice files. I was just wondering when it might get here.

Mainly I just want to thank you for this chance. Like so many of your other newbies no one wanted to give me a chance. I can not tell you how much this means to me. Thank you!!!!!

Sincerely,

Dana - Modesto, California

Hi Linda,

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I recently got very thing setup and the first level one sent to the editor. I am very anxious and excited to be an intern with Trans Am. I wanted to say hello to you since I have been doing most of my communication with Alan.

These newsletters are wonderful. It has so many great ideas that are useful.
Everyone, has been great!! Whenever, I had a concern about something it was answered. I know I'll be the best I can be with everyone's help. It's overcoming the fear of a new profession.

I live in Illinois and am looking forward in changing careers. I would love to stay home and work. I'm married, to a wonderful man and have two great teenagers. They have been a great inspiration to me in making this change. I want to thank you both for this opportunity. Plus the wonderful interest you take in people.

Thank you again
Sue C - Illinois

Hi, Alan

I am getting very excited about this new second career, and already I have
learned so very, very much from you via both the setup files and the
newsletters that I downloaded. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the newsletters - I
hope you will continue them forever - they give a wealth of information
(the "Tips" section is especially helpful to me); they also give a newbie
like me some much-needed support and encouragement, and I get a wonderful
feeling of camaraderie and caring among all of the subscribers. I also
love reading about your new developments and progress. It seems like you
have a very prosperous, growing and innovative operation there, and I am
proud and honored to have a chance to be affiliated with it, and I hope I
can help you become more successful once I get started.

I am at the point now where I have read all the materials that I downloaded
and all the newsletters.

Thank you again, Alan, for being so patient with me and for giving me this
wonderful opportunity. You have no idea how much I am looking forward to
"getting aboard" with you once I get everything in place and installed,
etc.

Take care, Barbara

Hi Linda,

I have been wanting to write and introduce myself to you since so far I have been communicating only with Alan, yet my life seems to have gotten away from me.

I am a newbie with Trans Am (signed my contract a couple weeks ago) and am so excited about yours and Alan's willingness to help new MTs like myself. It is also so exciting to find employers who share in my beliefs and values. I believe God answered my prayers when I found your web site.

So far I have spent time printing out all of the newsletters and getting it into a notebook. Wow the amount of information you pack into those newsletters. What a resource! So far I don't quite feel like they are up to my best work and want them to be perfect when your editor views them. I was really hoping when I started my course that I could jump right in to working. I am realizing all the time how valuable experience really is. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with your interns.

God Bless,
Vicki

Dear Linda:

Thanks for the most recent newsletters. I appreciate the time it must
take to put these together every month. They are very informative and I
continue to study them. I must admit though, I am finding all the computer
information a bit overwhelming. I know it will come easily with time and practice.

My name is Kristine. I'm from the Toledo, Ohio area. As everyone says in
the encouragement letters, thank you so much for giving this newbie a
chance.

I am a RN of 15 years. I feel I will do a good job for your company
providing I can get through all this computer mumbo-jumbo. Ha! I am so
thankful for my husband. He has been my computer technical support.

I have received my MT Professional and software. My husband is going to help me
install/connect it tonight. I will probably be starting on the practice
files by weeks end. I am very excited and I look forward to working for
your company. You have been added to my prayers for the continued success of
Trans Am. I hope to work for you for many years.

Your husband has been great. We have spoken on the phone one time when I
was ready to send the contract back. It is so nice to know that both of you
are available by phone and e-mail. It is also nice having the encouragement
letters. It really does help to know that so many are feeling the same
way I am.

Well, I should let you go. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you
know I appreciate the opportunity you are giving me. It seems there is
nobody out there willing to give new transcriptionists a chance. Most
especially if you want to work from your home.

Take Care and God Bless,

Kristine - Ohio

Hi Kristine,

I read your letter just at the right time. It has been a very stressful
day. Opening your message was a breath of fresh air and a moment of
peacefulness. We like to publish letters such as yours. Would that be okay
with you? I think it gives everyone encouragement.

God bless and love from us both,

Linda

Dear Linda,

Yes, you can print any communication I send to you. I hope I can help
someone feel less intimidated or overwhelmed. It is a lot of information to
absorb in a short period of time. I have to remind myself that this is what
I consider my orientation program with your company. If we were on site with
you, it would take some time to get through all the information. I just wish
I were more computer literate. Oh well, as they say: If wishes were horses,
beggars would ride. I know it will all come with time. I'll probably laugh
at myself a month from now when I am whizzing through all these programs and
typing with 3 different screens going at the same time.

It is midnight EST and we have just finished installing the software and
copying everything from the disc that came with The MT Professional. WOW!! What an amazing amount of information. I am so excited to get started on the
practice files.

Thanks again for this great opportunity. My 2 children and my husband are so
happy to have me home. None of us wanted me out of the house so to speak.
We have become quite dependent on the flexibility working at home has allowed
me.

I hope you have a better tomorrow! I cannot imagine the stress you must be
under as your company is growing. What an undertaking, yet I know you must
feel so excited and proud as your success continues!!

Keep up the great work and God Bless,

Kristine

Good day Alan!

Just sending you a quick note to let you know I haven't disappeared! I have been reading all the past newsletters.  I am reading the newsletters so I can apply what I learn- or rather learn what I read! As soon as I finish my reading and complete the practice files, which will hopefully be in the next couple of days, I'll let you know.

I just want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with Trans Am. It's exactly what I need in my life right now- not just the work, but also the camaraderie. I can see, just from the newsletters, that God is really working in the lives of your MTs, staff, family, and especially Transam! My "Sunday School" teacher recently said not to just sit and wait for God's Will to come to you (although we should pray for it and seek it), but to look for where God is working and jump in!!! I would love to be a part of such a wonderful God-loving "family." I hope to be as big a blessing to you as you are to me.

Thank you again for taking a chance on me and for the wonderful company you and Linda have evolved.

Gratefully,
Sarah
