Transam Associates provides precise transcription of dictation files for its clients. We offer a complete state-of-the-art digital system to our clients. We customize the design of electronic letterheads and formats that meet our clients' requirements.

Transam Associates prides itself on its dedication to accuracy in transcription services while remaining an affordable alternative to in-house transcription. We offer transcription services for all specialties in the medical field.

Our company was founded in Littleton, Colorado, and is now based in Valrico, FL.

We are looking for people with a desire to learn and make money in the field of medical transcription. The amount of experience is not as important as applying what you have learned. A high degree of accuracy is essential and we will work with you to hone your MT skills.

Career Opportunities

Those MT's who meet our standard rate of accuracy will be the first ones assigned to new accounts we have coming on board. If you are interested in Career Opportunities in medical transcription, there are two possible options to let us get a feel for your work. You can test or send us samples of work you have already done.

Option 1 - Transcribe a Sample Dictation

2. Handwrite what you hear on paper.
3. Transcribe, meaning type what you hear in this sample, and type it into an e-mail.
4. Then send the E-mail to dictation@transamassociates.com

Option 2 - Show us your work

If you would be so kind as to supply us with a few samples of your recent work. This will allow us to see the kind of work you do. Please copy and paste it into the body of an email to Dictation@transamassociates.com. We will get back to you with the results. Turnaround time is usually less than two business days.

Training Program

Transam Associates DOES NOT require a strong medical background or completion of an MT training school or program before entering our Training Program. Your trainer will give you feedback and trace your progress. The Training Program works as a stepping stone to give you the training, practice and experience needed before working with Transam Associates or a major transcription company for "real-time" physicians.
